Designed for real rooms, specified to fit

Electric and remote control blinds in glass let you raise, lower and tilt compatible integral blinds at the touch of a button. Morley systems include W Smart rechargeable battery operation and MB hard-wired motorisation for more permanent power and automation routes.

In suitable frames, the route is replacement glass rather than replacement windows or doors. We supply the blinds sealed inside a brand-new glass unit, then replace your existing glass unit only where your frames are sound and can accept the required specification.

Product information is based on public Morley Glass and Uni-Blinds supplier documentation checked in June 2026.

Key benefits

  • Choose rechargeable battery or hard-wired motorised operation
  • Useful for large or hard-to-reach glazing
  • MB systems can support grouped and synchronised operation
  • W Smart suits smaller motorised retrofit projects where hard wiring is not practical

Supplier specification

  • W Smart supplier guidance says the system is best suited to a single IGU or small projects of 1 to 4 units.
  • W Smart charging takes about 1 to 3 hours, with mains top-ups typically needed every 1 to 3 months depending on remote use and solar exposure.
  • MB hard-wired systems use an internal brushless motor with a micro-control unit and encoder for accurate movement and grouped operation.

What we confirm at survey

  • W Smart solar assistance can extend time between charges, but UK installations should still be planned with mains top-ups in mind.
  • Hard-wired MB needs a planned electrical route and is usually better for larger groups of blinds.
