Match the glass to the room before the unit is made

Switchable Glass is considered alongside the blind type, cavity, frame depth and control route. The survey makes sure the replacement unit works as a complete sealed-glass specification, not just as an isolated glass upgrade.

Internal screens, treatment rooms or bathrooms where clear-to-private control is needed.

What this changes

Privacy can come from powered glass rather than only from a blind, with electrical planning treated as part of the glazing specification.

About this glass

Why choose switchable glass?

Switchable glass changes from transparent to opaque when powered, giving instant privacy for spaces such as offices, treatment rooms, bathrooms and internal screens. It is a separate glazing technology from integral blinds and needs electrical planning.

The selected blind system, cavity, glass thickness and unit size are checked before we confirm switchable glass with blinds inside glass.

Product information is based on public Morley Glass and Uni-Blinds supplier documentation checked in June 2026.
