Match the glass to the room before the unit is made

Float Glass is considered alongside the blind type, cavity, frame depth and control route. The survey makes sure the replacement unit works as a complete sealed-glass specification, not just as an isolated glass upgrade.

Room signal

You want a clear replacement unit and the blind is the main upgrade.

What this changes

The glass stays visually clear while the new sealed unit creates the cavity and route for the integral blind.

Survey confirms
  • Existing frame can accept the required sealed unit depth
  • Unit size, glass thickness and cavity suit the selected blind
  • Control clearance works with handles, beads and room access
About this glass

Why choose float glass?

Float glass is the everyday clear glass that forms the basis of many double-glazed units. It is normally the starting point for a blinds-in-glass specification, then the survey confirms the unit size, cavity, internal glass thickness and control system before manufacture.

The selected blind system, cavity, glass thickness and unit size are checked before we confirm float glass with blinds inside glass.

Product information is based on public Morley Glass and Uni-Blinds supplier documentation checked in June 2026.
